I would agree, they likely swapped the card and didn't realize that each 
card in the path has to be setup equalized and leveled. Unless they have 
an old tech, they may not even know how to, or have the proper test 
equipment anymore to set it up.

Digital card work or they don't.. Analog cards (like the 4008) require 
actual adjustments and settings, but sound ohhh so much better!!!
