It's AM Talk, not Symphonic Music............

and I think they use 'MFT Card' as a generic description for any card in a 
signal path

most likely it is a Tellabs 4008, that's all they used back in the 80's when 
this was set up (circuit was re-built in 82 after the Great KHMO 
Conflagration); there's one at the CO, one about 2 miles down the line, and 
one at the site about 4 miles farther out
