[EAS] Event Code TOE Question

Question:

1. Is the TOE code included in your published local EAS Plan? If not, there may have been a thoughtful decision process that may have come to the conclusion that such an emergency is adequately covered by several existing EAS codes that most likely are in your local published Plan.

Comment:

That said, as an individual EAS Participant, you have the right to put in any code you want to unless you are an LP station as listed in your local published EAS Plan. In that case, it is my opinion that such decisions should be made in concert with the other EAS Participants in your market.
