[EAS] DIRS 2018 Exercise.

Boy these folks at the FCC are optimists. I do part-time work for a group of ten stations, there is another engineer who also does transmitter work for them as well as for another dozen or so stations that are part of a bigger group.
 
Just a few days ago this ten station group received an e-mail about the "DIRS 2018 Exercise."
Apparently two forms to fill in with all kinds of information.  Presumably they received the e-mail because one of their stations is a state relay. 
 
I'm out of town on the 23rd and 24th, their former engineer may have a password for this system--but he works full-time for a TV station out of state. I doubt if the other contract guy has the information they need...
 
The FCC needs to get with the real world....full-time engineering staff is a thing of the past.
