I leave to those smarter than I am whether a "Compliance Officer" is a good
idea.

I will say that getting the word to broadcast employees isn't something to
be done through RTNDA or the Society of Professional Journalists.  Rather,
it should come from state broadcasters associations (WSAB, here in
Washington State), groups to which station management pays attention.

This must be a clear "thou shalt not" order to all employees, coming from
the top down:  The GM, if there is one, or the Market Manager, if there
isn't.
