Let's see..... Maybe MLA alert for a mountain lion sighting. While we are at it, perhaps an ALA for an African lion sighting (Call me if you see a stray African lion. We're looking for a new one). Or do we need colors? A tan alert for mountain lions and a brown alert for African lions. A loose tiger would get a LTA code, and a Black and orange color alert, unless it's a white tiger......

Yet another example of what I keep saying.  BTW, where is it actually written that LEW is only for alerts about dangerous criminal activity?  Not only are the SAME codes prone to ambiguity, but they're not terribly well documented, either.

So let's see... should we start a rumor that someone is proposing a new event code for dangerous animal activity?  PET, maybe?
