[EAS] Mountain Lion Alert

Friends of mine live in a tiny community on the coast in San Mateo 
County.  They have an active mountain lion den just out of 
town.  Nobody lets their cats run loose at night any more.  They 
offered to take me there to see the cat.  I said "No thanks," they 
can run faster than I can.

In the San Francisco Presidio NPS is now are closing paths to dogs 
because of a coyote den.  While the coyote doesn't really threaten 
humans they see dogs as a threat to their den.  What color alert for coyotes?

I believe that the coyote that lives in San Francisco Golden Gate 
Park has already killed a dog or two.  But they mostly eat rats and 
mice so they're EXTREMELY useful.  Word also is that the feral cat 
colony in the park is now much smaller.
