Yes, I plead guilty to being over 30, by a long shot! You're correct in that
most people of your generation probably use their phones as their alarm
clock and keep them close to their bed at night. That's a good thing! But
remember your Boomer and older friends and relatives who aren't as
technologically savvy. Help them understand that the cell phone is their
best source of critical information. Make sure those phones are WEA-enabled
and that they have a couple of local news apps for follow-up information if
they receive an alert. And make sure they are subscribed to any of the
state/local Social Media apps that may be in use in their communities. You
could save their lives!
