I'm still not sure what was actually broadcast on which media outlets.
Did all the video providers show the same "scary" information? Which would
indicate something happened upstream from them.
Or did different video providers show different "scary" text crawls? Which
would indicate something happened with particular EAS boxes.
Was the "scary" text from the CAP message, or was the scary text from the
FCC header? Which would indicate whether something happened with the FCC
rules, or was it a software problem with the message.
"Scary" text lets the imagination run wild.
The IPAWS message didn't include recorded audio (at least the one I
found), so I assume any audio came from TTS. So what text was the TTS
using?
