George doesn't need to apologize for his point of view, but he isn't just
doing that.  He's accusing most of those posting here of never having owned
a radio station (implying that those who have would automatically agree with
him) and condemning "techies" as ignorant.

Yes, this is a place for discussing issues -- not for rants, insulting
others, and the use of intemperate language.  And I still believe that for
this, he owes the forum an apology.

George presents a point of view I've heard from other owners and GM's. He's
not alone in his point of view and he doesn't owe anyone an apology. This is
a place for discussing issues related to EAS and financial concerns are a
relevant issue.
