[EAS] concerning the request for new weather Event Codes

What I am trying to promote is continued use of NWR for both parties - Just
have NWS encode specific portions of their message stream for broadcasters
and do this with an Event Code that we could all program into our EAS Boxes
that would have the effect of eliminating the annoying over abundance of
weather messages that NWR has on occasions...

There are a lot of things that can be done with CAP - However the problem is
that NWS is not geared up for it (yet) ....Lets fix the legacy/analog system
now before more broadcaster get PO's and pull the plug.

Perhaps that is more clear
