[EAS] FCC Seeks Comment on Multilingual EAS

I started to post this last night, but didn't. I moved to Lima, Peru as an adult and knew two Spanish words--Si and No (I'm still struggling with when to use which one). I'm now fluent in Spanish and was once conversant in Chinese. There are generally others around who speak English who will help those who are not. If they are paying attention to media hopefully the local radio/TV station will act responsible enough to pass the message along. I was told to learn Spanish after I had been there about a month by a shop keeper that had been in the US for a while and could speak English.

I am married to a Canadian (who doesn't speak French) and it is a mess up there. 

I feel sorry for these folks, but trying to include everyone is pricing broadcast out of the market with Closed Caption, Visual Description, etc.
