Regarding using Sirius/XM for the receipt of EAN's - 

I am not suggesting that everyone should go out and buy a Sat Rx just for
this purpose - What I am suggesting is that in some locations (As you
right-coast folks call "out-west') there are a lot of wide open spaces where
the only way some are able to receive EAN's is via a long daisy-chain or
other failure prone methods that perhaps this should be considered as an
alternative.

Just thinking that the fewer hops the better.
