I love this one ----

have staff listening to the EAS receiver and act accordingly.

What Staff are you talking about ....The SALES Staff...That's the 
Only staff left in Radio.   TV's stations are not a lot better off 
With their 'staff' consisting of one person at a central-cast 
Location.

Automatic is the ONLY safe option - 

> No dependency on STAFF ...Unless it's a large organization - there is no
'operations' staff.
> No issues when the station is in Automatic Mode and the place is vacant of
any human.
> On-air clutter does not matter - CLEARLY - as the cookie cutter format
just keeps on running 
> At least the public does get the message.
