I have to be honest, from CAP to IPAWS to whatever...this is all starting to sound like Charlie Brown's teacher......wahhhh wahhh.....blaw blaw blaw.....get an XML file....then download the audio from a 3rd party.....then punt....then cross your fingers....hell by the time we screw with this the world could end....

Good thing that the radio op on the Titanic didn't have to deal with CAP....he just did what we always do...SENT THE MESSAGE!!

When can I get back to engineering and forget this nightmare?  Come to think of it...why are engineers running this anyway?  How does any of this fit the job description other than making the hardware work?

I heard today we are being bypassed and emergency messages will be sent to cell phones....in New York to start.....rest of the country by April 2012......goodie.....

I can't wait for the investigation when that fails!!
