We have two different locations, both with Gorman Redlich
decoders, one bought late 2009, the other several years old.
When the storm front came through last Wednesday, one of
our stations--the satellite fed one with the older decoder,
was relaying a slew of NOAA weather radio warnings while at
the live station the DJ's were doing their best to keep up
with the various alerts.
Checked the live station on Sunday--found this curious
WXR-msg ignored on the printout as I reported on the first
post. This morning I checked the printout from the older
decoder up at the satellite-fed station and the same message
traffic that was ignored at the other location was fed
through this system on-air.
At least I can safely assume they were, as the particular
warnings in question hit while I was driving home that
Wednesday. At the time I was dial-surfing to who else was
off besides our one station and the CC station on the same
tower.
Looks like a software bug in the newer G~R decoder.
