The EAS-CAP Industry Group (ECIG) website was updated to include a December memorandum from FEMA, expressing FEMA's concurrence with the ECIG CAP-to-EAS Implementation Guidlelines. Both the memo and the Implementation Guidelines can be found at http://eas-cap.org/documents.htm
This might be of interest to some, in terms of the guidelines that FEMA adopted some months ago, and the level of detail involved.
These guidelines provide specific guidance for CAP-EAS manufacturers to adhere to.
FEMA adopted two additional key documents, alongside their adopted of the Common Alerting Protocol. One was the IPAWS CAP Profile v1.0. The other was the EAS-CAP Implementation Guidelines.
FEMA issued two memos to ECIG concurring with the ECIG Implementation Guidelines. The December one is posted, and the prior August memo will also be posted shortly.
