Another way some of us do it is simple logic.
FCC says "...at least once a week..."
No place does the FCC define week i.e. Sunday through Saturday, Monday through Sunday, Wednesday through Tuesday. I happen to use Monday through Sunday, but others differ completely legally.
Since the week is not defined by specific days, we fall back on the definition of week, i.e. 7 days.
Ergo, once a week means once every 7 days.
