"modem grade" for what distance and to where? I had copper from my house 0.5
miles to a Uverse fiber box thence to the CO. While you may "see" copper at
your studio, it WILL be converted to VoIP fiber at some point. Uverse on
long (not well maintained) copper runs is not possible.
