[BC] Couple of Wide Orbit ?'s

I've got a couple things I'm trying to do with W-O and can't seem to make work.  I'm running V2.1, build 52.

The PD has asked to be able to fire the next event with the push of a button.  I've built a workflow using the "start stack" command, but it doesn't seem to do anything.  If I try to do another function (update switcher, for example) it works fine.  I've tried all 3 stack choices (stack 1, stack 2 & default).  

Also, is it possible to run Playlist Editor on a 64 bit Win7 machine?  Someone suggested I use the 32-bit version of Java, but I get an error message when I try to launch it to the effect of it can't find javam.  If I try a 64-bit Java, the DOS window briefly flashes, then nothing.  Is this one of those issues where only a certain build of Java works?
