We use VNC, Vaddio, Kramer, Black Magaic, and other video hardware and software products to produce 1920 x 1080i 59.9494 HD video for use on local TV. It wasn't without pain, and it hasn't completely gone away. I've learned a few lessons from this School of Hard Knocks that might be useful to you.

Thanks James! I appreciate it the tip, and I will certainly pass this
along to our head A-V geek here at Custer Road UMC. We're catching up
on the HD conversion wave in measured steps. I'm far from in-charge,
just a volunteer who gets to play the part of junior engineer and
installer this week. ;) It's as close as I'm likely to get to putting
my degree in broadcast management to work. Otherwise, I'll continue
pushing photons & electrons from my comfy datacenter gig until the next
time I'm called up. ;)
