[BC] Scientific Atlanta D9850 Digital Satellite Receiver

You probably already tried this, but it might work :

Go into setup and select IP. set the IP address of the receiver
IP /MAsk / Gateway
192.168.0.10 /24 192.168.0.1
The gateway will not really be used but set it to your networks gateway. 
The mask is the Subnet mask
8= 255.0.0.0 16 = 255.255.0.0 and 24= 255.255.255.0 I use 24
Reboot the receiver then plug into your network and load the IP in your 
browser. http://192.168.0.10
Username is 'user' password is 'USER'
