Despite the area getting whacked by SVR WX today, we came out OK. So...I 
guess I'm glad to have not suffered the same weekend you're having.

That said, I do agree that series of TX (along with the XR AM's) which 
saw much of it's industrial design farmed out have issues. While capable 
RF performers, they leave some things to be desired in other areas of 
the box...  Most of which have been addressed by the current crop of 
TX's.  But that doesn't explain why software keeps killing the RF...
