at this point in my life I dont have the time nor desire to build things
but prefer to buy off the shelf. my current antenna is a DX DTA-3500
active antenna. the one good thing about Lo-V is I canpickup harrisburg
on many directions. With High V I have one in allentown and one in
lancaster and two up in scranton. The allentown is religious but has a
good signal. Lancaster NBC is good but the antenna directivity kicks in.
All the rest are on UHF all over the place. So if I do replace this I
need all three bands.
The other pet peeve is how the receivers scan and store. The vizios
allow you to do a partial search but sometimes it seems even there it
will erase things previously saved. There's no consistency on this IMHO.
