[BC] Elevated radials

These do have significant voltage at the far end, and probably fairly narrow
frequency as a true ground. I'd suggested in the past that six elevated
grounds were used. Then, connect 3 pairs at the ends to create 3 triangular
grounds. I would think that would widen the frequency and probably make it
somewhat less voltage at the ends.

I did hear of this before on the Radio Disney 640 station in Philadelphia.
The end voltage was significant. I think it was high enough that the field
could be mowed underneath these ground wires.

One of these days I may build a scale model on the 40m ham band. Put up a
1/4 wave vertical and six elevated grounds tuned to mid-band. Do a VSWR
reading across a part of the band. Then, connect the far ends as I
described above. It may also work that the length of the grounds may be
shorter that way. If I have some time, I may do that...

And I suppose another way to widen the frequency would be to make each
ground slightly different in length.
