[BC] real video cameras endangered species?

This is another example of a reporter using a term improperly.  I read the story and it mentioned the show was being shot on a Point & Shoot Canon DSLR.  The photo online with the article doesn't clearly show the camera, but it appears to be a DSLR rather than a point and shoot. 

Like someone else pointed out, DSLR's are being used all the time to shoot big & small budget projects.
