Stay away from Time Warner Business Class Wireless for Internet connectivity. They are a nightmare to deal with - unresponsive and clueless. We have it for one of our sites that would have cost $185,000.00 for any 'wired' service - fiber in our case.
We have been shipped a replacement Sierra 250U 'air card' which is expected to restore our service. That took almost two months of telepjone harangue to accomplish. Then they insisted on shipping it to our other remote site, which is where the wired service is located. They would not ship to our main campus studios due to 'security issues'. (!)
I am presing for the V-Sat EAS CAP service at our cow-pasture site. I spoke with them at the Ohio Assoc. of Broadcasters conference this past September, and the service appears ideal for the purpose. Anyone here have experience??
Installaton requires a certified installer as it is an uplink. I hope to take the certification class in Akron, OH, and do it in-house. Otherwise, a certified installer ($$$) would have to travel to Sheep Hollow Lane in Kentucky and dodge the bulls.

>There are no non-participating stations. The FCC eliminated that designation in the re-write of Part 11. They must have CAP capable gear by June 30. I have seen indications that stations without internet service can get some sort of waiver. -- Brian Urban Chief Operator KUT Radio
