In my experience, the demeanor of the RI is often a reflection of the cooperation given by and the demeanor of the staff along with the apparent effort towards sustaining and maintaining compliance. I recall John Reiser making that comment as well.

Keep in mind that violations means paperwork.  Easily corrected issues along with a documented history of compliance otherwise makes everyone's lives simpler.

That said, evry station has a skeleton.  And if you PO the RI, they will go looking.  And it won't be hard to find either at most stations. (GR)
