My Fm  station is also  vertical directional. and must have a horizontal power to adjust for Channel 6 almost 90 miles away.Dumb if you ask me..
Yeah 920 watts vertical  1 watt horizontal.
 another 2 non coms around here are 6 kw vert  and 3 watts horiz..
at least in theory........ but most are just running the vert.
