Several years ago, WSM was supposed to flip to sports talk under a new owner
and if I recall it never happened because of the outpouring of support for
WSM.  What some of those rich country stars need to do is buy WSM from
Gaylord and then Nashville will have a 50KW TIS station.  It can be used to
promote country music and Nashville.

pretty decent idea of how to still make money with their AM, unlike
