Patrick,
The county music stars, both young and old are willing to buy WSM-AM from Gaylord and keep the faith going. Gaylord shut down "Opryland", a moneymaker and built a shopping mall called "Opry Mills". We have enough shopping malls in Nashville already. It's all Gaylord's fault about WSM-AM and the Opry, but it can and will be turned around! Nashville is not going to let go of WSM-AM and the Opry, even if the City of Metro Nashville has to buy it, but that's highly unlikely that they will have to step in.

Don't you worry, when WSM-AM is sold to one of the big country music stars or a group of country stars, the Opry will turn around, revenue wise, and will prosper. Like I said, WSM-AM and the Grand Ole Opry will be around long after you and I are gone. Stars like Alan Jackson, Reba, Keith Urban, Dolly Parton, and even young Taylor Swift want to buy it. Rock stars like Gene Simions of Kiss would love to invest into it. Gene said this on his reality show that was on the A&E Network.

WSM-AM will live as long as the AM band is around. The Opry will live as long a Country Music lives. The Opry is already on satellite.
