I have a friend that just bought a new HHR about four months ago. He
dislikes the FM audio quality.  His explination is that the audio
"narrows up" too much too early.  He cannot get the RDS to work right
on 102.7, a 100kw local station here.

In contrast, my 2005 Chevy Silverado has an EXCELLENT FM radio in it.
It's a "Bose" system.  It is almost as good as the famed Sony XDRF1HD
HD tuner for the house I own too.  If they have "upgraded" to a newer
design like the HHR has, it might be a real good reason for me to keep
my truck longer than planned.   If the radio now sucks and GM now
stands for Gov't Motors, I may have to explore other options.
