[BC] Starguide III audio problem

Hi all,
 
One of our Starguide III receivers tends to change audio settings for no apparent reason.  For example,  we will have the audio card set to either "Copy left to right channel" or "Copy right to left channel".  Then, for no apparent reason, it will revert back to "normal" mode (stereo).  The problem being, if there are two different programs being feed on the left and right channels, we end up with two programs on the air at once.
 
I am pretty sure it's not being caused by the automation.  It can happen in the middle of a show segment, when there are no commands at that time.
 
It doesn't happen very often, and it occurs at random times.  Any thoughts on what might be causing this to happen?
