Tugicom's proprietor visited our company "BW broadcast" some years back, bought a transmitter and some spare boards and then went on to copy large sections of our circuitry in their own products. Some of their exciters and amplifiers are almost direct clones of our products.
They offer cheap products, probably because they have used other companies research and development departments to do their R&D. Take a look at one of our manuals and then look at their so called all-in-one board and 300watt amplifier.
If you want to know more, come and talk to some of our not so happy engineers about it at NAB.
Regards
Scott
