That was never my experience with the software. I think you need to
look at the hardware.

Do I like it? No, not really, but it is stable.

Also, they have a really fair maintenance plan. People complain about
the price, but I don't see it as that bad. They also have a per call
price. It may not be state of the art, but it is stable.

I really do like the SS32 the best. It is very stable, and under
Google, and under Scott (for the most part), customer service was
fantastic.

I would rather have Wave Station than Audio Vault. BE was always very
good to us, and trained our IT girl. However, when we had problems,
at least initially, the response time was very long, and we even had
an on site visit (our expense) that had 44.1 kHz audio playing back at
48 kHz, making the music run out before the hour was out. Well, after
that, BE became more concerned and really treated us well, but really...

The thing that really bothered me was that a very good friend works
there, and ended up being a lightning rod. I felt really bad. He is
a super nice guy, even if he doesn't understand audio processing (very
inside joke). They are a good company, and WANT to do the right
thing, but some of their people are not top shelf.

With the change of ownership with Google Audio, I worry too. I think
I have 16 Scott systems. OUCH!

I really want to set up a Rivendale evaluation system, but who has the
time. The price is right! Hey, even if you buy a maintenance plan,
the price is still right.
