In an ideal world we would all dub from the
cleanest original sources. At most stations,
music is downloaded from music company
websites. Many have lossless options. Most
spots, features, etc. are MP3 and downloaded
from network websites. Spots are routinely
exchanged by email via MP3 format.

Gone are the days of record reps delivering
product and CD's arriving by mail. Dueling
algorithms is a common, but invisible, enemy.
Your air product is only as good as the original
source. No audio processor can correct for that.
