Stu,
You have got that right! Back in the 80's, where I managed a live, rural AM, we could sell school closings. These days, forget it! The kids get the info faster than we do!. We just make mention that the County Shools are closed today, and that's it. We get "0" calls for school closings. Technology has killed that for us little AM Stations, even in the rural areas.
