Marty,
I also have a MS2721B. It's definitely a Lab Grade instrument in a 6
pound handheld that runs circles around other popular instruments in
every way. The instrument is designed, built and is serviced by the
factory in Morgan Hill, CA. I ordered mine with the tracking
generator, GPS (for frequency accuracy) and various interference
tracking functions and software. If you just want to do NRSC's you
don't need the other options, but I would suggest the GPS option for
frequency accuracy. If you're going to work with filters, then you
should consider the tracking generator option.
I ordered mine directly through Anritsu in Morgan Hill, CA. As I
recall I paid about 26K out the door.
Feel free to contact me directly for and I will help you in any way I can.
