[BC] Irv Joel board

Not so with me. Irv was quite upset when I unmodified
the 8100A at WRCH and ran about 4 dB slow AGC.
The GM told him everyone was happy with the sound 
and that's the way it was going to stay. Not that I believe
Beautiful should be heavily processed, but it did give a
consistent, louder sound without fatigue.

Irv did NOT agree with me that Beautiful was a background,
not foreground listening format. OTOH, he did try to hire me
for a major market Schulke station so it was disagreement with
respect.
