We had one of those here in Tucson.... it saved me from having
to build a console by myself (they *were* using an audimax with
four small DPDT switches to feed the tapes and/or carts to the
audimax. NOT pretty). I had the P&G faders and was ready...
Oddly, it was never used by a live announcer. It was set for
the FM operator to do the sequencing and that was about it
until well after I left the station.
I do remember that Irv was quite happy with what I was
doing with the audio chain and processing. There were almost
no "Do this!" notes ... at least as they affected me.
