For FiOS, it is fiber from the node to the house, then coax to the  
TVs, and Ethernet to the computers.

For U-verse, it is coax from the node to the house, then coax tot he  
TVs, and Ethernet to the computers..

For most cable companies, it is fiber to the node, and coax to the  
house, with Ethernet to the computers.

FiOS is the only on that brings fiber from the node to the house.

NO ONE (of which I am aware) runs Cat 5 (Ethernet) to the TV.
