[BC] UK gets strange digital law

Digital radio in the UK is terrestrial, not satellite. It is what we
SHOULD have done.
Digital radio will take about the same damage as FM, maybe slightly
less because the frequencies are higher, and the antennas smaller.
Also, many or most of the GPS satellites would be damaged, but not
all. We assume (and we might be wrong) that those shaded from the sun
will be OK. We don't really know how long the Carrington Events are,
nor when they would be most intense, but if they do actually last for
days, and if the energy is spread out over those days, all satellites
would move out of "shade" and would likely be fried.
Then again, it may require long wires to capture enough energy to
cause real damage, but I think that unlikely.
