Sadly, Rich, most stations in any local area tend to run the BEG-A-
THONS at the same time now.

In the past, they didn't and that worked out.

Now, I tend to go to AM talk radio, and it is taking longer and longer
and longer for me to get back to National People's Radio.

They ask for people to help. They ask for restaurants to provide
catering, then finally, the beg-a-thon starts. Then they thank
everyone. It is pretty much continuous.

I would rather they run commercials.

Commercials have value. I know some car dealer is selling Honda
Civics at a huge discount. I know some restaurant is giving a huge
discount at happy hour. I know some carpet dealer has a huge discount
on hardwood floors.

Listening to National People's Radio, all I know is that they are
begging for more money. I hate it.

I cannot listen right now because of the beg-a-thon on WAMU. I am
finding other things to listen to, so I am unsure when I will get back
to them. They force me to tune away and I find other good things I
can listen to. They really hurt themselves. I may come back, but it
is taking weeks longer after each of the beg-a thons.

I am wondering why I should go back. Maybe I will. Maybe not.
