Ay, yo comprendo. I do indeed. As a futher bit of trivia, at the time I
was developing a syndicated Christian music service. I happened to mention
that to one of the guys at Peters Productions, also a Christian, and he was
also working at KECR. He mentioned it to their manager, Rich Grant. Later
he moved on to manage KAMB in Merced, and he needed to hire a new engineer.
About that time, I had to close my company as it couldn't get off the
ground. He was lying in bed one night, wondering where he could find an
engineer, and then my name came to mind. He was able to locate me (I was in
Florida at the time) and offered me the job. I wound up being at KAMB for
16 years.
