around here, 39.50 is used by county sherriff's departments, 42.50 is IL State Police

IL Dept of Transportation used 47.30 and 47.38, big 330-watt Micor bases used to be the
norm back in the mid 80's

the well-used Motrac bases went to IL Emergency Management Agency on 44.64
