I'm probably stating the obvious, but, then again, I made a career of
stating the obvious.
My point is, that too often, we may look at individual pieces of the
puzzle rather than taking a look at the entire system in regard to
performance issues. Further, we can sometimes allow our personal
likes, desires, or prejudices to cloud what should be an analytical
assessment.
What I'm seeing on this thread is a confirmation of my thoughts on the
subject. In addition, I've been able to learn more about the process
and understand that there may exist more than one way to troubleshoot
and/or solve those issues found.
