I love snake lights, but carry several lights From large million candle power to little one LED. One trick to keep from getting caught with dead batteries is to store one of the two (in a two cell light) backwards so that if the switch gets turned on, it won't kill the batteries. If you have the kind of heat we have here in Las Vegas or even close, plan on replacing the batteries at least once per year since the heat in a car or truck will kill them Pronto.
