 Sadly, many GM's today do look to those folks to set the "going rate"
 for the compensation package.
 Sure, and I can find M$ certified all day long for $35K or so, and still
 get called myself when it doesn't work.

 It's not only "qualified" broadcast engineers who are undervalued.
