there are tons of wannabee 'broadcast engineers', but if a piece of gear
doesn't have a keyboard-mouse-monitor hooked to it, they aren't interested

say 'AM' and get a deer-in-the-headlights look

say ' AM Directional' and they run screaming for mama

troubleshooting skills ? if it can't be fixed by 'downloading a patch',
forget about it
