[BC] Broadcast Radio when JFK was assasinated

Hmm. I don't remember any FCC directive about programming after the 
assasination. I know stations voluntarily dropped commercials and 
played dirge-like music. I don't believe the FCC would have any 
authority to order stations to alter their programming. To require 
stations to play music JFK loved they'd have to distribute a list. 
How would they know that JFK didn't like Top 40 or loved dirges? Does 
anyone have any documentation about this directive?
